Curriculum & Instruction

The Office of Curriculum and Instruction provides leadership, direction, and support to the district's academics.   The HF-L staff works collaboratively to review and revise curriculum, provide relevance in instruction and assessment, and align professional learning.

The Office of Curriculum & Instruction oversees the K-12 instructional program, assessments, adherence to State Education Department regulations, data warehouse reporting, residency, homeschool students, federal grants, program evaluations, and the work of the Instructional Leadership Council.   The Instructional Leadership Council meets bi-monthly to discuss the current status of our programming, review curriculum writing proposals, curriculum maps and review student assessment data.

The Office of Curriculum & Instruction also oversees the Technology Department, the Health, Physical Education and Health Department, Community Education, Professional Learning, Dignity for All Students (DASA), and the School Library program.
