Capital Project Information

Welcome to the HF-L Capital Project webpage. This page has been designated to keep the public informed on the condition of the HF-L Central School District's buildings and grounds.

Capital projects are building projects for certain capital outlays and debt service for school buildings housing elementary and/or secondary students and for school bus garages. Such projects may include new buildings, the purchase of lands, the development or recondition of fields, and alterations and renovations of facilities. The District has a long-term commitment to being a great neighbor. This work is led by our District's Master Facilities Planning Committee and reports directly to the Board of Education.

Capital Project - Phase II.V  (proposed)

The Superintendent recommends forming a 2019 Capital Project Committee to define HF-L’s next capital project. This committee would initially focus on the items dropped from the current project, which includes multiple items (e.g. Discover Lab, Science Room renovations) at the Middle School. The preliminary vision for this work is to create a project in the range of $6 million to $12 million, which could be placed in front of the voters as early as December of 2019. If you are interested in serving on this committee, email with your interest.
